This was one of those sketches where I was almost “done” and I just couldn’t get it right, so I had to just throw the whole thing away & start over. Sometimes drawings can be saved, sometimes they can’t, sometimes they transform into something completely different than what I initially intended. It’s an ongoing exploration of composition that makes these sketches really fun for me. It’s truly based on instincts and practice. Practicing trust in my gut is one of those things that will take me where I want to be - a place where using my intuition is common place and trust in it is unquestionable.
