I haven’t sketched in a while. Mostly because I’ve been pretty busy. But, yesterday I felt the urge to practice and reconnect with the things I love. I realized I feel a lot of insecurity as an artist - being on the edge of art and architecture. But today I’m expanding my idea of what an artist is. The framework I built around these two things are limiting & impermeable. If I’m not completely invested in one or the other, I feel disingenuous. Today, being an artist means expanding my perspective through creativity.
